Greetings!

In 2015, when I was 12 years old, I held a television camera for the first time. That moment marked the beginning of my journey into the world of filmmaking and photography. My main profession is as a cinematographer for television and film. In 2024, I began my studies at the Latvian Academy of Culture, specializing in cinematography. Most of my work involves filming events, concert recordings, music videos, commercials, live TV broadcasts, and short films. I’ve also worked as a camera department assistant on Latvian TV series such as “Padomju džinsi” and “Pansija pilī”. Alongside videography, I’m also active as a photographer—capturing concerts, events, creative photoshoots, and commercial projects. Some people call me a multidisciplinary artist. In many ways, I’d say that’s true. During high school, I studied jazz drumming at the Riga Dome Choir School. I’m a musician who plays at least five instruments. What sets me apart as a photographer?

I understand rhythm, movement, and musical nuance—elements that often go unnoticed. I can anticipate musical climaxes and emotional peaks. Through my photography, I aim to let the viewer relive the experience—capturing the emotion and energy of a moment that’s already passed.

Māksla nav atdarinājums, bet gan dvēseles izteikšana.
